Enable Offline Files and Folders Between Windows Server 2019 and Windows 10

This is a quick post to show you the steps required to setup Offline files and folders in Windows Server 2019 and Windows 10

1. In Windows 2019 Server (where you are sharing the files/folders from) right click on a folder and click properties>Advanced Sharing>Caching>Choose the Offline mode you want – I use the default.

2. On the Windows 10 machine go to control panel and click Sync CenterEnable Offline Files and Folders Between Windows Server 2019 and Windows 10-1

3. Click Manage offline files and click Enable Offline FilesEnable Offline Files and Folders Between Windows Server 2019 and Windows 10-2

Then simply right click on the network drive or shared folder you connect to from the Windows 2019 server and click Always Available Offline
