Block pop-ups from any website using Chrome plugin uBlock

Problem:

The conventional built in pop-up blockers are unable to block pop-up windows for some sites.  The issue is that a script is initiating every time you click on a certain area of the page.  This seems most common with torrent sites such as rarbgtorrents.org and 1337x.to

Solution:

While most adblockers should be enough to block most popups, some ad networks and sites are getting around this by having a script initiate once you click somewhere on the site. This solution is about blocking those scripts. It is site-specific, meaning that the option will only apply to the particular site you want to block.

First download the uBlock plugin and install to Chrome

Then go to the site with the pop-up issue and click the uBlock icon.  It should have a number in a badge which shows the number of elements that you can block.

Right click on the element you want to block and click block element, the pop-up will no longer appear
