Problem:
After you have deleted the existing Windows user profile you are logged on with a temporary user profile
Solution:
Find any lines with .BAK in them and delete them from the below registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
