PowerShell console runs in Constrained Language mode when using software restriction policies and AppLocker. This means you may get an error when trying to run some scripts.

Cannot disable Windows Scheduled Tasks
Problem:
If you have a need to disable certain built-in Windows scheduled tasks you may notice that since a recent update you get an error stating ‘The user account you are operating under does not have permission to disable this task’.
Google Chrome can’t add sites to Allowed list for Flash
Problem:
When trying to use a Flash enabled site in Google Chrome you cannot add the site to the Allowed list under the content settings as the setting does not exist.
This is particularly annoying if you are trying to use vCenter in Chrome for example and you have to click to enable Flash every single time.

Restore the Windows 10 Photo Viewer
This is just a quick post to inform you that if you cannot see or access the Windows Photo Viewer in Windows 10 that it is possible to restore it.
Sky Go Windows 10 “Something went wrong, try reinstalling the app”
It is no secret that Sky have an absolutely diabolical software development department. Over the years I have used Sky Go I have seen it devolve into the mess that it is now. It never really worked well with IE (why did we have to use IE anyway?!). Now it has it’s very own Windows 10 app it comes with the usual compliment of bugs. The error many of you will get is Something went wrong, try reinstalling the app. If you’re still having trouble, please contact our customer services team for help and quote the error code below to get things going again. Code 7005. It seems that Sky (bless them) are more than a little worried about us thieving customers pirating the material – that we er already paid for. To that end they have spent more time and money implementing Cisco VideoGuard (an anti-piracy app) than they did making the app a nice experience for us users.
