Problem:
A QNAP QTS NAS device builds up message queues and keeps sending emails from the notification center and there is no way to stop it from the GUI
Solution:
SSH to the device and run the below command. The command will reset all of your notification center settings but will clear the message queues.
/etc/init.d/nc.sh reset
I have an issue where it keeps displaying the same message over and over and over from malware remover. Even when the malware service is stopped and the NC queue cleared. Would be great if I could stop THAT
