Problem:
When logged in and going to server manager you cannot connect to your RDS farm deployment. You notice error ‘the winrm client received an http status code of 504 from the remote ws-management service’ in the logs
Solution:
The issue is that you have a hidden proxy setting enabled. Run the command as shown below to see:
netsh winhttp show proxy
If you look in the Windows settings no proxy setting is configured:
Run the command below to clear the setting:
netsh winhttp reset proxy
These warnings should now clear and you should be able to connect:
