Problem:
You need to change the drive that the Microsoft Exchange logs are residing on for a particular database.
Solution:
Fortunately the solution is no more complex than a quick visit to the Exchange Management Console.
Open the console and go to Organization Configuration> Mailbox.
Right click on the mailbox database you want to move and click Move Database Path.
Leave the Database name and the Database file path as it is and change the Log folder path to reflect the new location/disk.
Click Move when ready – this will then initiate a dismount/remount of the database so I would first suggest you have a good backup and then do this outside of working hours.
