Setting up an RDS or Remote Desktop Server as a Session Host and License Server

Problem:

This is a quick post to go over a few things you may want to do after you have installed the RDS Session Host and RDS Licence server roles.

1. On the RDS Session Host/RDS Licence Server Click Start> Run type gpedit.msc

2. Go to Computer Configuration> Administrative Templates> Windows Components> Remote Desktop Services> Remote Desktop Session Host> Licensing

3. Select the below option and input the name of the licence server

4. Select the below option and choose the mode of the licence server to suit the licences you bought

Next go to Session Time Limits and set a limit for disconnected sessions
